Hi everyone! I’m from Torquay in England and I’ve been teaching English as a second language here in Spain for over 6 years! During my time living in Andalucía, I also learnt Spanish to a fluent level, which has given me a really valuable understanding of how to bridge the gap between Spanish and English and adapt my teaching to help Spanish-speaking students understand English in a more natural and intuitive way. I’ve also undergone specialised Cambridge training, allowing me to provide focused preparation for Cambridge exams and help students achieve certified language acquisition. My lessons are all about having fun, feeling comfortable and genuinely enjoying the learning process. I love using enjoyable, creative activities and practical methods that help students remember what they’ve learnt and naturally put it into practice. I’m also a big believer in teaching the English you’ll actually hear in the real world — from everyday expressions and native idioms to professional vocabulary; so my students can feel confident not just speaking English, but truly understanding and communicating naturally like a native speaker!
